argentina v. germany

i feel like a seer right now. or an octopus.

the game was really something to watch. germany's defense were tight and, until the second goal, argentina fought so hard. the equalizer just would not sink in. germany continued to play like titans and then the match was over in seconds.

wonderful match for some. heart breaking for others.


paraguay v. spain

ohshitwhatagame! this match reduced me to wibbling sounds and endearments. i found myself saying baby so many times tonight.

*pique exhibits startling control at the start of the game*

and then the penalty! i felt my belly crawl and then nothing. i knew he had it. i knew it. no need to worry. and he did.
