i'm doing it
Oct. 27th, 2010 02:20 pmand if you're not too busy, you can do it too!
scrivener is offering a nanowrimo trial of their software. product name aside, i am interested if only because i still haven't found a way to organize and them implement my ideas effectively. long ideas, i mean. friends will tell you that i am an idea machine and it's true. but i always point out that the execution of said ideas is what slows me down. i can't corral myself in, structureless, i throw my hands up and then curl into a ball of self regret and bitterness. or something like that.
i actually had 3 fanfic ideas in mind, one hybrid, and then that original story i started the first time i attempted nanowrimo. the white collar!au is off the table. i think i'm going to go with the fencing!au if only because it's been hanging around in my brain for a very long time now and deserves some attempt at an actual story. my only two hang ups right now are if the story should be set in "spain," and what to do with ruben de la red and pepe reina, besides the obvious i mean. i still have my preliminary research notes about fencing and court life, dress, etc, but i never got around to doing it for england. it would be easier i suppose to create not!europe or slightlymoreidealized!europe because then i could more perfectly order history. erm. right.
who is joining me!?
