ah. heart-stopping, pulse pounding, edge of my seat game with a near frustrating finish. god. was it tiring or a laxing? the momentum totally swung after sergio's penalty. ah. haven't been so engrossed by a game in. a long time. this statement is misleading. i was just as jumpy and HANDS IN THE AIR as any game i've seen in the past year, but. idk. the atmosphere was so intense. i think part of it was the fact that i watched a sport i knew something about the other night (cav's v. knicks) and was riding the tail end of a sports high. i felt connected with something very vibrant and real.

i was in my care, fighting game day traffic for 25ft to my home and i was literally chewing on my bottom lip nervous and excited and knowing we scored again. knowing we held it together for those precious few seconds.

AND WE DID.

christ but that was intense. did you see iker's expression as (guy i can't remember) missed the equalizer? contempt never looked so sexy. i shivered.

i don't want to analyze any more than the little i already did. i just want to remember the strong showing we produced for about 86% of the match. and i want them to take that type of drive and dedication and execution into the rest of the rest of their campaign, against any team they face, only for 100% of the match!
