starting with the bad: dbsk's latest photo op for their return to japan marketing.



what the shit is this? i expect yoochun to get the short end of the stick but that is ridiculous. i truly believe he fell into a diminsional rift on the flight between Seoul and Tokyo and emerged as Robert Smith from the Cure. this is not a good thing. this is not hot. this makes it harder to write him in japan which is a shame as the country is ripe for kink. but you can't kink that. that's yoochun 20yrs from now looking back on the glory days through the bottom of a bottle when after some insane scandal broke and they fell to disgrace.

once i tear my eyes from the tragic figure, i find myself staring at junsu and yunho who pose as awkward bookends to an awkward photo. yes, i should concentrate on jaejoong and changmin, but it's too hard. it takes effort. this is horrible!

clearly, wrangling 13 men into looking decent in korea is easier than 5 in japan? and while it may not be perfect, it is quite good!!

in an obvious bid for my affection, suju capitalizes on dbsk's current weakness by releasing the video for their new song, sorry, sorry. there are so many things going right in this video i can overlook the 2 spots of stylistic wonder (sungmin's bangs and my inability to figure out where is eunhyuk. i blame the video and not my lack of attention for like, 9 mnths. i can't even spell their names right anymore!) i think we all remember how i feel about choi shiwon so the flashes of him being sexass in the video are some of my favorites. but honestly, the best part is hearing how shiwon and kyuhyun's voices blend into each other at the beginning. it's so mellow and round and HOT. trust me.

and i like the song! a lot!

i think i've learned another thing about the music/media modes of korea and japan.

That is quite an awful picture of Yoochun, I must agree. :( I do think Jaejoong looks nice though, love the arm warmer!

According to my DBSK master, I'm not to attempt learning about SuJu until I've more fully advanced my knowledge that is the DBSK fandom and multimedia. So... although I really do like the picture, I don't know anything about them. lol There are so many of them!

suju is definitely something you want to level up to although i admit i went the opposite direction, knowing about dbsk (my rl bff has been talking to me about changmin since like, 2005 and i slept on the group until 2 yrs ago?) but starting with suju. they're complicated with their split off groups and additions and subtractions. but they are a lot of fun!

when you're ready i definitely recommend super junior full house, exploring the human body, and their movie, attack of the pinup boys. the movie is fun and the dbsk ep of exploring the human body is wonderful!!
