FINALLY!

SHOW YOU CAME BACK TO ME AND YOU ARE BETTER!

let me count the ways:

1. scott! holy shit this isn't a one-eighty or anything, but the writers eased up on the "passion of youth," and now scott and allison are something that is not only more genuine but entertaining. thank god! i wanted to like them both in season one but it was so goddamn hard!

and the ridiculous wolf running returned! and he was scenting the wind with his head out the window! brilliant!

2. stiles! comedic and caring! also, his daddy is so hwat! whosaidthat!

also, also? someone seriously needs get on this mr. harris thing. now that peter is gone fandom must rise to fill the space as that older creeper who can't get enough of that stilinski boy.

3. derek! why are you in so few scenes and yet still manage to steal my heart! it's like someone reached into my brain and pulled this out! and he's such a, such a woobie! scared and alone and trying so very hard. he's like, will someone please pack up with me! like, seriously. you're gonna die if you don't. someone.... anyone? loveme!

and he's luring another pretty young thing into dark corners. what's not to love?

4. jackson! (coming in a four to hide my ridiculous love for him) still a dick! still needs dick! derek! you should be working more in this area! but seriously. all the fucking chemistry these two characters had last season (that the world conveniently ignored) is back in spades. it makes my heart happy!

5. lydia! i still want to see more of you (not that way). i missed your sarcasm and your attitude!

6. danny! don't listen to the coach! keep the shirt off! also, please to be having more speaking roles.

7. SHOW! CONTINUE TO BE IMPROVED UPON AND LET THE WHOLE NO RULES THING ALSO MEAN THAT DEREK LEADS HIS YOUNG TEAM TO THE BEDROOM!

um.

next episode please.

the answer is yes, omgomg watch this show with me!

but i am you friend so i must warn you. the pitch for teen wolf probably went something like this:

hey guys! remember high school? yeah, yeah you do. now imagine all of the triumphs and heart break, awkwardness and uncertainty, the emotional trauma and angst. now imagine the hormones and confusion and celebration of just being young and figuring things out. imagine all that... with werewolves.

and the writers could not imagine it well at all but man, oh man did they try. they went BIG with effort and produced teen wolf. i could complain about somethings all day long but i'd rather revel in the spirit of the show. and that show loves sarcasm, on par acting, funny bits, and male dudity.

if you didn't know, i'm a fan of that kind of thing.

let me know what you think!

Now I'm at Wolf's Bane (that's the ninth episode) and just ... dear me, Nikki.

What have you dragged me down into?

// edit: Now I've caught up with everything there is to catch up with up to today, I think.
Please do talk to me about this. All of it.

Also, I like your thinking with Derek leading them all to his bedroom, I think it's a tremendous idea, I just wonder whether this ruin of a house even has a bedroom. I mean where does he even sleep? What does he even EAT in the morning when he's waking up ~somewhere~ all alone and once again all of the puppies have left him and he's been dreaming of Kate again though he absolutely did not want that to happen and it just hurts, everything hurts but it's been a stupid high school crush and he really shouldn't, not when he's the Alpha now and he's stronger and faster and everything hurts even more and hey, is that Stiles with his ridiculous car outside waiting for him with some bagels and coffee and 99 ridiculous other problems that are up to him to solve?

But no really, what and where does he even eat. I am deeply concerned.

so...you've basically ruined my life, because i am caught up on this show, and it's only been three days!! i couldn't stop. it's so utterly ridiculous, yet amazing. there are definitely things that are just...wrong, but how can you hold it against them? now that i've seen it, i agree with every single one of your original points. Scott and Allison really did need to tone it down a bit. Stiles makes me laugh like no other. Derek is amazing... amazing , and the poor baby needs someone to understand him. come on guys! his entire family is dead, and he's all alone. be more sympathetic, dammit! i'm glad i'm not the only one who immediately thought Derek/Jackson, YESSS!!! but seriously, Jackson is a complete dick, but in the best way, because he doesn't try to hide it, and he's totally unapologetic about it. i feel for him, cuz that boy is a mess. he's also stupidly pretty, which is why he needs Derek to come to the rescue ;) OMG DANNY!!! I heart him a ridiculous amount for someone who has barely any speaking roles at all. but he's so perfect. every scene that even mentions him, but my hands down favorite scene is that one with him Stiles and Derek, with Derek changing shirts. HIGH_LARIOUS. and then Derek banging Stiles' head against the steering wheel and saying, "you know what that was for" AHAHAHAHA. i have a new addiction...sigh.

why yes, this makes perfect sense. and the image of him in a truck stop might console me enough to try and push this question of eating into the background. ... I'm dreading the episode he gets rid of his biker jacket.

I mean seriously. Seriously. I'm not an architect of any sorts but the whole construction doesn't even work out. I mean the front is like some old Western saloon's front, the ones that basically consist of a front only, and then they try to make us believe that the interior space is rather deep and dark and how does a wooden house even burn down without burning to the ground? I don't understand. ... Clearly its meant to shape character but still. This house. Ridiculous.

LOL that's so true about the western saloon style. thats exactly what it looks like, and it is very very ridiculous. it should be bright as hell inside that house, because i maintain that it doesn't have a roof. the entire second floor looks to be gone, and everything is covered in soot. how the hell does Derek look so clean when he comes out of there? how can that place have running water? and they eat like normal ppl, where the hell is he storing food/cooking? i mean i get that it's atmospheric, but really, it makes zero sense.

i can't tell you how excited i was for a new episode tonight. but then again, it's all worth it to see Tyler Hoechlin's sexy self. he's amazing. i got a little dasklkds when he smiled last episode trying to charm that girl at the police station. i blame her for nothing.

me too, me too and for the exact same reasons. damn, he's come a long way since 7th heaven and its been a good way, apparently. ... hehe, that police station scene surely had something, but I liked his interaction with Erica even more. irresistable piece of werewolf. :s

I had to think about this convo during the first minutes of the newest episode because really. the house. the ridiculousness (uhm?). enough said.

that detail never occured to me before but you're right! maybe his werewolfness prevents any type of dust and ash to stick to his clothing, maybe that's just another super power they haven't revealed yet.

anyway. seems like he's not living in there anymore, anyway, so goodbye sense. (because explanation for how the Argents got in there? lol no) fare well, strange atmospheric housing, fare thee well.

hahaha...i was def wondering about how the Argents were all in that house, and where the hell Derek is living now. i will say that you are so right about that scene with Erica. i was like, hello, you are suddenly very aware of your seductive powers and the uses you can turn them to. it's wrong, but it's so right...
