pride doesn't even begin to describe the feeling but i am proud and excited and happy for them.

i'm excited for the final! like, a genuine joy to watch the netherlands and spain play. is that what you're supposed to feel?

would you believe me if i said i wasn't nervous until the last three minutes before stoppage time? it's true. it's also true that i am still at work and will be for the next 7 hours (i have a love hate relationship with 12hr shifts) and i'm sipping over-honeyed tea because my throat is raw from suppressed gasps.
