match thoughts

i ended up streaming both matches and wow. rollercoster of emotions!!
liverpool were up early, nandonandonando!!! and they played with incredible confidence.
then my stream died (which sucked because it was very informative and i understood things!!)
i couldn't find another one up immediately so i switched to barca and got drawn into 20 min worth of painful magic. messi and thierry scored! and i saw thierry go boot first into a face. it hurt to watch.
when i came back to red v. blue, the score was tied and it was almost the half.
after the half, things got confusing.
where did my boys go? it's like everything was sucked out of them. the defense started to lag and then nothing. not really nothing, but everything felt slower. the sense of urgency gone.
and what do i need to do to get in with the football jargon? i tend to lapse into baseballisms. like, i wanna say nando was like a duck on the pond but does that translate?
also poor form m. terry, poor form.
i expected a good game on both ends and instead i received a blowout victory on one hand and a not what i. total lie there, but it wasn't what it could have been.
