never before have i seen a match that lacked as much conviction. passes every which way, an oddly confused midfield, and a very few shots on goal. the best thing about the match, besides iker because who are we kidding here, was portugal's back line.

the penalty shoot out! aaa! i thought my stomach was about to pack it's bags and leave when it began. exhaled the longest breath possible after iker's save. almost cried from hysterical giggles for sergio ramos because that goal was ACES!

so we're in the finals.

I agree with all of this. Much as I love negredo he did fuck all, and then I was so pissed at Cesc being subbed in as this false 9 again. At least give Llorente a shot, dammit. Pepe (portugal) is a beast, and I adore him. Straight up one of the best central defenders in the world. Sergio's penalty was the most beautiful thing ever. I was sooo proud of him. I knew he was gonna take one. I just knew it. In terms of Spain's play this tournament, I personally feel they would play better if some of those that have Ben on the bench were on the pitch. Xavi has not done shot all tournament. And I'm no just saying that because I despise him. I'm fine to have him playing when he's doing well, but it makes me insane that they won't bench him when he isn't. And I have no idea what busquets has done to earn a permanent starting position. Del Bosque is making me crazy. I know Aragones is muttering to himself this whole time.
