The sensation was similar to flying, sailing through a sea of uncharted stars. Air, heat, a throbbing pain, and then he landed. When he woke minutes later, the others assured him the punch really was for suckers and he took it like a man.

'you look like you're in pain' is a multiple-possibilites thing.
first encounter of two strangers in a park, some medical AU, worst pick up line ever ...
And the fourth one sounded a bit like a Fight Club scene to me, last sentence excluded.
