this is not at all what you're wanting but maybe it's a start! i notice sometimes if something is presented to the masses, an idea takes root and then you open your fl and suddenly there's pepe/sergio or gattuso/cesc there ;)

2. For most, relating and relationships are found in the times in between. Between the long talks and the heated kisses, or the strong laughter and the next joke spun just to keep the smile alive, in that moment in between one breath and the next when, for a very instant the words no longer matter and all sound is replaced by the sudden melding of two distinct heart beats.

This is where Gonzalo found Sergio Ramos. In between a practice and a match, between recently lost love and loneliness, between a good night and a good morning, a goodbye and a hello. The particulars whisk by but he will forever remember reaching out for Sergio's hand, thumb sliding across the smooth skin and across knuckle slowly as he never before dared to touch.

He answers Sergio's questioning word, his name, with a bewildered smile. "It's like I've never seen you before. Have you always been this way."

"Been how?"

"Something I could have?"

Sergio's warm fingers curl around his hand and hold him, the grips so tight Gonzalo thinks perhaps he'll never let go. "I have been this way, always."
