i like the album from beginning to end and listen to it in order. that rarely happens. favorite song may be skinny love, whichscreamsdavidikertomeidk. when did i start to like drama and angst? thanks to songs like computer love and t.pain's vodacoder revival, i think woods is my favorite of the current ep although blood bank is amazing. the 4 tracks follow in the same slow, dreamy vein that reminds me of a winter so deep and so coldcold but that doesn't matter because there's a hand in yours and you can see stars forever.

ohgoddd dreamydreamydreamy. i do love winter so so much (my ceiling is covered with twinkle lights and snowflakes!) and i love the colors and how everything is quiet and ethereal and magical and soft and bare and. mm. this song is beautiful. i love bundling in scarfs and mittens and soft coats and cuddling in close and cold noses and. oh.

oh. my. GOD.

This album is incredible. It honestly could not have come at a more perfect time--it's going to rain all weekend, so I'm just going to sit in this chair and listen and write and think. I LOVE this. I love his voice. I love the harmonies and the jangly guitars (so jangly!) and it's just... wow.

I can't even pick a favorite. I really like "re: Stacks" and "Lump Sum," but they're all just so good.

I so get the winter thing, too. There's one song (I don't know all titles yet, but it might be "The Wolves") that just begs to be listened to during a silent snow where you just stand outside, look up, and watch it fall onto evergreens.

gahhh I'm seriously going to sit here and listen to it all night long because it's perfect. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
